Piatti Antonella farm is a small family business reality that was born in 2000 and it began vinification in own winery in 2006.
The most prevalent activity is that of winemaking: the vineyards, all located in the municipality of Mazzè in hilly areas particularly vocated, are composed of historical vineyards and new implants built with the establishment of the farm. In terms of structure and pruning system the grape variety Erbaluce is cultivated with traditional “pergola canavesana” while the red grapes variety are cultivated to guyot.
Grapes and wines are entirely D.O.P.: the Erbaluce, which is produced in three versions, dry white one, passito and sparkling one; the Canavese in two versions, Red and Nebbiolo.
The entire production is managed according to the organic cultivation criteria from the vineyard to the cellar as prescrived by the existing Community regulations for the organic: using selected yeasts and sulphites on respect of the limits for the bio, no oenology additives from animal origins are used. The farm is certified organic by the ICEA Certification Body.
For company choice, only grapes produced in the farm are processed and unbottled wine isn’t sold. The winery is open: telephone or mail notification is required.
